Venison Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Venison or meat of your choice
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 3 c Onions 3 onions, diced
- 5 cloves Garlic minced
- 3 c Chicken Broth or beef broth
- 2 Carrots diced
- 1 head Green Cabbage shredded
- 1 tbsp Arrowroot Powder or other thickener of your choice (optional)
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Add oil to pan and add onions and garlic.
- Cook until a golden brown.
- Add the broth and meat and cook until browned.
- Add broth, carrots, and cabbage and cook down until carrots are tender, about 30 minutes.
- Add optional thickener as the directions call for. Still tastes great if you omit.
