Braised Cabbage and Onions
Ingredients:
- 1 heads Green Cabbage shredded
- 1 c Onions 1 onion, thinly sliced
- .5 tsp Sea Salt
- .5 tsp Garlic Powder
- .5 tsp Onion Powder
- 3 tbsp Coconut Oil or fat of your choice
- 1.5 c Vegetable Broth or broth of choice
Instructions:
- Add the spices and toss until combined.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add the cabbage mixture and cook for 6–10 minutes or until wilted and slightly browned.
- Add the vegetable broth and cover, reducing heat. Cook for another 5 minutes or so.
- Remove from heat and serve as a side to your favorite main dish.
