Spiced Apples and Cabbage
Ingredients:
- 3 c Apples cut into wedges
- 3 tsp Butter divided
- 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar
- .5 tsp Caraway Seeds
- .125 tsp Allspice ground
- 3 c Red Cabbage thinly sliced, or green cabbage
- .5 tsp Sea Salt
- .25 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh Dill chopped
Instructions:
- Cook apple wedges in 1.5 tsp butter in a skillet over medium 5-6 minutes.
- Stir apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, caraway seeds, and allspice. Cook 1 minute.
- Add green cabbage, remaining butter, salt, and pepper. Cook 2 minutes.
- Serve topped with fresh dill. Pair with roasted pork tenderloin or chicken!
