Easy Mongolian Beef
Ingredients:
- .25 c Coconut Sugar
- .5 c Coconut Aminos Or Tamari
- 2 tbsp Molasses
- 1 tbsp Arrowroot Powder
- .5 c Water
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger minced
- 5 bunches Green Onions chopped into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 lb Flank Steak thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes optional, omit for AIP
Instructions:
- Dissolve coconut sugar in the coconut aminos or tamari and then add the molasses and arrowroot into the water and whisk to combine. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tsp of avocado oil in a medium saucepan over medium/low heat. Add ginger, green onions, and garlic to the pan.
- Add beef and brown for 1–2 minutes.
- Add the coconut aminos mixture.
- Increase the heat to medium and boil the sauce for 2–3 minutes or until the sauce thickens
- Remove from the heat; sprinkle with red pepper flakes if you like heat!
